| Do It Up Productions was started by Shawn and Dom in April 2005. Shawn at the age of 14 was tired of going to teen dances around the area and hearing the same old tired song played to death by DJ's that have no idea of what good music, sound, and equipment are. So Shawn saved up some money and bought a set of speakers, an amp, mixer and CD player. He asked Dom (who has been hosting Karaoke shows for the last 13yrs) to help put together a teen dance that would rock the teenage world. Together they booked a hall and printed up tickets. Shawn went all over the area selling tickets to the very first event. Out of 100 tickets printed 80 were sold. The dance was a hit with all the teens asking when the next one will be. Now 5 years later we have gotten hired to DJ and host Karaoke all over the state of Connecticut. We have created & promoted small shows for performers Solitude & Wyze (Both From Naugatuck, CT). Do It Up has been the sound engineers for special contests & awards show. We have DJ's & hosted charity events all over Connecticut. We have expanded our company to Live & Studio Recording Department, Internet TV & Internet Radio. Do It Up has also started up an Internet TV Show called Lurch & Dom Live Broadcast where you can watch & listen to a lot of local music that big radio stations won't play.
